Concerts at the Library

Memorial Park (adjacent to Blair Memorial Library)
Join the Friends of The Blair Memorial Library and Clawson Parks & Recreation Department for a free Summer Concert Series just outside the doors of the library! These family-friendly concerts will feature a pair of award-winning singer-fronted trios that are sure to have your toes tappin'. Clawson's own Salt & Sugar Company will be there serving up sweets, treats and more! In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved to city hall.  For more information please contact The Blair Memorial Library at 248.588.5500.  Concerts run 7-8:15pm.
Monday, June 17th—The T-bone Paxton Project will perform popular songs from artists like Hoagy Carmichael, Louis Jordan, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, and more.
Monday, August 19th—The Dawn Giblin Trio will perform American standards from the Swing-dance era in the style of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Connie Boswell, and more.

Ice Cream Social & Concert at the Park
Clawson City Park
Enjoy some vanilla ice cream with toppings such as chocolate, caramel and raspberry (flavors subject to change)! Popcorn will also be made fresh on the spot! All proceeds benefit the Clawson Lions Club.  Then enjoy a free night of music sponsored by the Clawson Parks and Recreation Department, just bring a folding chair or blanket!

New This Year! The Farmers Market Committee is announcing the Sunday Summer Park Market and Wednesday In-Town Market. The Markets are your small neighborhood gathering places for everyone, with diverse local farm products, specialty foods and other assorted items.
