dot dayINTERNATIONAL DOT DAY

International Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration! On Saturday, September 18, we will read Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot  & other stories on Facebook Live. Afterward, pick up a "take & make" kit at the library and let your Dot Day inspiration & creativity flow!

Chapter Chat (Zoom Meeting)
CHAPTER CHAT fall
Join us on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 4:00 – 4:45pm to discuss a well-loved children's chapter book. This intergenerational book club is suitable for readers ages 8 – adult.

* Wed, Oct 27th: Nightmares! by Jason Segel
* Wed, Nov 24th: Wishtree by Katherine Applegate

* Registrants will receive an emailed link prior to event date

Story Hours

Pre-School Story time
For children aged 3 – 5 years old. We will listen to stories and participate in songs and creative movement activities to encourage development of early literacy skills in your preschooler. Story time meets on Tuesdays from 10:30 – 11:00am. Please sign-up at the library or by phone. 
     Session: CURRENTLY OFFERING ONLINE STORYTIME (see above)

Parent and Tot Time
For toddlers up to three years old accompanied by an adult. Enjoy an interactive story time with your child that includes early literacy fun with books, songs and movement activities. Tot Time takes place on Thursdays from 10:00 – 10:20am and 10:30 – 10:50am. Please sign-up at the library or by phone.

Paws to Read therapy dogPAWS to Read!
Come to the library to read to a dog. Our favorite certified therapy dogs love to be read to ... so pick out a book to read to a furry friend! Sign-up for a 10 minute time slot at the library or by phone.
