The City of Clawson is requesting proposals to provide informational technology professional services. The proposals are due by April 15, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.

We will be offering walkthroughs Monday, April 12th at 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday April 13th at 11:00 a.m. Please be to City Hall, 425 N. Main St., Clawson, MI 48017 before the appropriate start time. The City of Clawson provides municipal services to approximately 12,000 residents. The City of Clawson depends upon a technology infrastructure that is linked between 6 locations. These include City Hall, Police Department, Department of Public Works, Library, Parks and Recreation Department and Fire Department. The City of Clawson implements a hybrid inhouse/outsourced approach to management and development of technology resources. The City of Clawson does not have a professional IT staff. Information Technology services are provided across these locations throughout the City and includes essential and emergency response functions that require 24/7 service such as Police, Fire and Department of Public Works. 

Bid Process:

A Public Notice for soliciting sealed competitive bids shall be published in a newspaper in general circulation in the city at least five days prior to the final date for submitting the bids. Such notice shall briefly state the specifications of the supplies, materials, service or equipment required and shall state the amount of surety to be submitted with the bid and the surety, if any, which is required to be given with the contract, and shall further state the time and place for filing and opening of bids and the general terms and conditions of the award of the contract.

The City of Clawson works with AEW Engineering who provides support for the bid process of any large project.  It is advised to check with their office for any current or future projects and bid documents or the Department of Public Works unless otherwise noted.
