Welcome to the Parks and Recreation Department
The objective of the Clawson Parks & Recreation Department is to offer residents a variety of recreation programs and activities for all age groups on a year-round basis. Our department offers a variety of recreation classes including aerobics, gymnastics, karate, dance and bowling. Special events are planned throughout the year and will be listed to the left as they come closer.
No special membership is required to participate in the programs offered by the department. These services belong to you, the residents of the City of Clawson and those in local communities. We are committed to meeting your needs and satisfying your interests! For your own good health and well being, take advantage of the recreation opportunities offered in Clawson.

Oakland County Parks and Recreation 2016 Annual Vehicle Permits

Clawson City Park Engraved Brick Program
The City of Clawson Parks and Recreation Department is offering engraved bricks for purchase to support the Park Maintenance Fund. The bricks will be installed along the asphalt path at the park once the improvements have been completed later this year. 2013-2017 Parks and Recreation Master Plan
The Clawson Parks and Recreation Board has prepared a five-year Parks and Recreation Master Plan in accordance with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources requirements. The plan will serve as a guide for the acquisition and development of community recreation facilities and programs over the next five (5) years. The draft of the 2013-2017 Parks and Recreation Master Plan was available for review from January 15, 2013 – February 15, 2013 at Clawson City Hall, Hunter Community Center, and the Clawson Public Library during regular business hours.
