The Conditional Rescission of Principal Residence Exemption form must be filled out every year and is only valid for a maximum of 3 years.
The cut off dates are:

Year 1: May 1st
Year 2: December 31st
Year 3: December 31st


On January 1 of each year the real and personal property located within Clawson is assessed. Assessments are made by the assessor subject to appeal by the property owner.

Each year, during the month of February, Oakland County mails out Notice of Assessments. The Board of Review will then meet during the month of March. The Board of Review dates and times will be listed on the Notice of Assessment along with their phone # to set up an appointment.
